Connectivity Grants

When we build, own and operate our own internet networks, we are in control of our digital futures.

While Indigenous-led connectivity projects are growing across Canada and the US, access to capital remains a serious challenge.

The Indigenous Connectivity Institute provides network planning grants to support the development of Indigenous-led internet networks. These grants can cover costs for consultants, hosting community meetings and conducting community consultations, equipment for pilot networks, and staff time.

Criteria for applicants

We provide funding for qualified Indigenous non-profits, community corporations, band councils, and non-Indigenous non-profits partnered with Indigenous communities.

If you’re interested in applying for a grant, get in touch to discuss your project: contact@indigenousconnectivity.org.
